“هيئة الأدب والنشر والترجمة” تنظم ملتقى الترجمة الدولي 2025 في الرياض

تستعد هيئة الأدب والنشر والترجمة لتنظيم النسخة الخامسة من ملتقى الترجمة الدولي 2025، الذي سيُعقد في مدينة الرياض، خلال الفترة من 6 إلى 8 نوفمبر، في مركز الملك فهد الثقافي.

ويهدف الملتقى إلى استعراض واقع مهنة الترجمة وأحدث الممارسات الاحترافية في المجال على الصعيدين المحلي والدولي، بالإضافة إلى مناقشة التحديات الراهنة في القطاع.

ويتضمن الملتقى 7 مسارات نظرية وتفاعلية منها مسار “الجلسات الحوارية” الذي سيتضمن 15 جلسة حوارية تناقش أهم القضايا المتعلقة بميدان الترجمة الحديثة، بمعدل خمس جلسات يوميًا يشارك فيها أكثر من 75 خبير محلي ودولي من 22 دولة، وخصصت إحدى الجلسات للاحتفاء بالعام الثقافي السعودي الصيني تحت عنوان: التحولات الثقافية في الترجمة : قراءة في التجربة السعودية الصينية. كما أن أحد المسارات الرئيسية في الملتقى هو مسار “ورش العمل” التي ستتضمن 17 ورشة عمل تهدف إلى تطوير مهارات الترجمة والتعريف بالتقنيات الحديثة في هذا المجال؛ تغطي ورش العمل موضوعاتٍ حديثة عدة مثل تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي في الترجمة وتوطين نصوص السيناريو وقصص الأطفال إضافة إلى مواضيع مهمة أخرى منها: “كيف تحصل على منحة بحثية في دراسات الترجمة؟”، ولتوسيع نطاق الوصول وتسهيل المشاركة من مختلف مناطق المملكة والعالم يمكن للمهتمين الاستفادة من هذه الورش حضورياً أو افتراضياً.

وإلى جانب مسار “حلقات النقاش” الذي سيستعرض أبرز الأبحاث العلمية المدعومة من المرصد العربي للترجمة، ومسار “التجربة التقنية التفاعلية” الذي يقدم تجارب تفاعلية للزوار، ومسار “حكايا ترجمية” الذي يتيح مساحة لمشاركة القصص والتجارب المهنية للخبراء في مجال الترجمة

كما يرافق الملتقى معرض مصاحب بمشاركة 30 جهة من المؤسسات والجمعيات المهنية المتخصصة في الترجمة، سواء من داخل المملكة أو خارجها، ما يُشكل فرصة لتعزيز التواصل وتبادل الخبرات بين المهتمين والمختصين في القطاع.

ويأتي هذا الملتقى في إطار سعي هيئة الأدب والنشر والترجمة لتعزيز مكانة المملكة كمركز ثقافي رائد يدعم صناعة الترجمة ولتطوير قطاع الترجمة بما يتماشى مع رؤية السعودية 2030 من خلال تحفيز التعاون الدولي والتواصل الحضاري عبر الترجمة.

The Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission Hosts the International Translation Forum 2025 in Riyadh

with 30+ Entities and 75+ Local & International Experts

The Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission is set to host the fifth edition of the International Translation Forum (ITF) 2025 in Riyadh, taking place from November 6 to 8 at the King Fahd Cultural Center.

The forum aims to explore the current state of the translation profession, the latest best practices both locally and internationally, and the current challenges facing the sector.

ITF will feature seven theoretical and interactive tracks, including “Panel Discussions” which will host 15 discussions on key issues in modern translation. Scheduled at five sessions per day, the track will bring together over 75 experts from 22 countries, both local and international. A special panel discussion will celebrate Saudi-China Cultural Year, under the title: Cultural Transformations in Translation: An Insight into the Saudi–Chinese Experience.

Another major track of ITF is the “Workshops”, featuring 17 workshops designed to develop translation skills and introduce the latest technical tools in the field. Topics include applications of AI in translation, localization of screenplays, and children’s literature, as well as other key subjects such as “How to obtain a Research Grant in Translation Studies?”. To ensure wide accessibility, participants from across the Kingdom and around the world can attend these workshops either in person or online.

In addition, ITF will feature three engaging tracks: “AOT Research Discussion Sessions” highlighting the most notable scientific research supported by the Arab Observatory of Translation; “Technology hub”, offering visitors hands-on experiences; and “Translation Tales”, a platform where experts share their professional stories and insights from the world of translation.

The forum will be accompanied by an exhibition that will bring together 30 translation-focused organizations and professional associations from Saudi Arabia and abroad, providing a unique platform for networking and sharing expertise among industry professionals and enthusiasts.
