DCT Abu Dhabi Honours Key Regional Partners at Appreciation Gala
Roadshow was held in Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and the Saudi cities of Jeddah and Riyadh
Abu Dhabi, UAE – xx December 2023: The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) hosted Appreciation Gala evenings across six key regional markets – Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and the Saudi cities of Jeddah and Riyadh.
The aim of the roadshow to recognise the outstanding contributions of travel agencies from across key GCC countries and cities. More than XX travel agents, partners and tourism executives attended the galas, celebrating their substantial contributions towards elevating Abu Dhabi’s standing in the competitive global travel market.
Abdulla Yousuf Mohammed, International Operations Department Director at the Department of Culture and Tourism said: “Partnerships and collaborations are fundamental to our goal of showcasing Abu Dhabi to the world. The roadshow of Appreciation Galas not only honour the remarkable achievements we’ve accomplished with our partners but also symbolise our collaborative spirit. This event served as an acknowledgement of the relentless effort and dedication put into consistently showcasing the best of Abu Dhabi with a level of excellence that aligns with DCT Abu Dhabi’s ethos.”
The galas also provided an opportunity for DCT Abu Dhabi to showcase the success of its ‘Can’t Wait to Winter’ global campaign. The campaign prominently featured renowned personalities such as Indian superstar Ranveer Singh, Chinese-American actress Liu Yifei, and the Gulf region’s legendary comedic duo Dawood Hussein and Hasan Al Ballam and highlighted the treasure trove of experiences and back-to-back events on offer in Abu Dhabi. Whether it is culture, sport, food, adventure or family-fun, there is something for everyone to explore, and all in close proximity.
